Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, at Plastic Surgery Tijuana we had to change the way we interact with you. As an existing or new patient, we have chosen to offer virtual consultations for the indefinite future.
Wanting to have plastic surgery for any reason is a big decision. You need to be well-informed about your surgical options. Dr. Rafael Camberos can work closely with you through each step of the process, from pre-op to your final follow-up visit.
At this time it is not possible to offer an in-person consultation due to government restrictions regarding COVID-19. Instead, we can now offer our patients two plastic surgery virtual consultation options.
Plastic surgery is a personal and life-changing step, with many aspects to consider. We aim to provide you with all the information you need to make informed, educated decisions.
Why have an online plastic surgery consultation?
- You live out of town and it is a hardship to come in for an in-person consultation
- You live locally, lead a busy life and like the idea of a consultation from the comfort of your own home or office
- Now there is a third reason – in view of the Coronavirus Pandemic, social distancing precludes coming into the office for an in-person consultation
How does an online plastic surgery consultation work?
There are three components to an online consultation:
- An online meeting platform where two or more people can join
- A method of sending photos of a portion of your body to the surgeon
- A method of communicating your medical history to the surgeon conducting the consultation
Online Consultation Options
Video Consultations:
If you are interested in a video consultation with Dr. Rafael Camberos, you need to call (619) 598-2517, to set up the time and date of your consultation, or you can email us at info@plasticsurgery-tijuana.com.
Tips on how to get the most out of your video consultation:
- Research your procedure and obtain information so you are ready for your consult
- Make a list of questions so at the end of your consult you can ask anything that wasn’t covered
- Ensure you have a good internet connection
- A static camera is preferable as that doesn’t move around. If you are using a mobile device we suggest you mount or prop your device so that it is stable and captures you in full view or use a computer with a camera if you can
